At Triple D Design we can efficiently create layouts and produce drawings from CAD models that comply with major drafting standards. Our software automatically creates aligned and scaled drawing views from 3D part and assembly models. This means all drawings views & dimensions maintain the accuracy of the original designed 3D CAD model.

● 2D Cutting Profiles
As well as providing flattened sheet metal outlines for processing we also offer basic 2D modelling of profiles which can be converted to files ready for laser or plasma cutting. These files can be nested on the required sheet size to produce the best yield.
● Patent Application Drawings
If you require your idea or design to be patented we can assist you with drawings for the patent application. We can work directly with the patent attorney to provide the required images or views in a 2D black and white format. These views are then ready to be marked up with the special details and features that make your part unique.
● Assembly Instructions
As well as providing fabrication drawings and Bill of Materials on more complex jobs we can provide drawings and images to aid fabricating or assembling the project in the workshop or onsite. This can consist of exploded views or staged assembly instructions as screen shots, renders and detailed drawing views with the required information.
● Packaging
Once your part is designed and drafted we can even help you with packaging the final product. We offer to render the packaging at point of sale, material for marketing purposes or nesting parts efficiently in packaging or shipping containers. This can help take the guess work out of the final stages of your project or product.
● Parts List & Bill of Materials
At Triple D Design we offer a Bill of Material service (BOM) which can be provided in a range of formats. This information can include specific information like quantities, material and manufacturing requirements for each part. From small assemblies with a few parts up to large assemblies with thousands of parts this service can accurately capture all the specifications to fabricate the project regardless of size or complexity.
